About this role…

Bookkeeper will provide financial services and will be required to:

  • Multi-Source Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of financial transactions by meticulously cross-referencing data from various credit card acquirer reports, our central CRM, and bank settlement statements.
  • Data Integrity: Verify the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, ensuring that every transaction processed by our acquirers is accurately reflected in the CRM and that the corresponding funds (net of fees) are correctly settled into our bank accounts.
  • Fee Auditing: Carefully review contractual agreements with third-party payment providers. Audit and verify all deducted fees and charges to ensure they are accurate and in line with the agreed terms.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate, document, and resolve any identified discrepancies in a timely manner. This includes liaising confidently and professionally with external partners and payment providers to seek clarification and rectification.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Utilise advanced Microsoft Excel functions to manipulate, cleanse, and analyse large, complex datasets from various sources, often in different formats.
  • Bookkeeping & Xero Management: Manage the accurate and timely entry of all reconciled data into our Xero accounting software.
  • General Bookkeeping Support: Assist with broader bookkeeping duties for both our business and our clients, including reconciling invoices, processing payments, and ensuring all financial records are maintained accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Accountancy or any related course
- With at least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficient with Xero Accounting Software
- Excellent communication skills
- Good attention to details
- Deadline-oriented
