Material Planner

  • Strategic Planning: Develop & implement material strategies, balancing costs, availability, and production needs, especially for New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Demand & Inventory Management: Analyze forecasts, production schedules, and demand to set optimal stock levels, preventing stockouts or overstock.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Engineering (ECN implementation), Procurement, Production, and Logistics to align material flow with overall goals.
  • Supplier & Performance: Monitor supplier quality/delivery, potentially negotiating contracts, and managing material allocation during constraints.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve material planning systems (MRP/ERP).
  • Engineering Change Control: Manage the impact of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) on material masters, BOMs, and supply chains.
  • Data & Systems: Utilize ERP/MRP systems for data-driven decisions, ensuring data accuracy (like Bill of Materials).

MINIMUM EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Must possess a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Must be a licensed engineer.
  • Preferably 1-5 years of experience as a Project Planner.
  • Willing to work in Manila
