The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

About the Team:

The Material Requirement Planner plays a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted warehouse operations by supporting the forecasting, procurement, and replenishment of packaging materials and consumables across Scommerce facilities.

The role helps maintain optimal stock levels, coordinates with vendors and warehouse teams, and monitors usage trends to avoid out-of-stock (OOS) risks. This position is fit for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build strong foundations in material planning and supply coordination.

Job Description:

  • Monitor historical consumption and usage trends of packaging and consumables to support material forecasting and replenishment planning.
  • Track inventory levels across multiple warehouses and identify low-stock or potential out-of-stock situations.
  • Coordinate with warehouse custodians, procurement, and suppliers to align on replenishment schedules, delivery plans, and stock readiness.
  • Assist in validating purchase requests by checking consumption forecasts, current stock coverage, vendor capacity, and cost considerations.
  • Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and trackers related to inventory, demand patterns, and vendor performance.
  • Support procurement in monitoring PO progress, ensuring timely deliveries, and flagging potential risks or delays.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and help prepare materials readiness for new warehouses or operational expansions.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, or logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel; familiarity with basic forecasting or data analysis is a plus.
  • Solid attention to detail and ability to manage multiple follow-ups and coordination tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Proactive, organized, and capable of operating in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment.
