  • Manage, coordinate, and provide support services to the HSE Manager for all operational and technical HSE matters related to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment with the objective of Total Loss Control

  • Promote a high level of HSE awareness amongst all employees through structured HSE training and audit

  • Analyze and assess all risks associated with activities that are carried out in all operations

Ensure the conduct of proper HSE audits for operational activities and subcontractors

Principal Accountabilities

  • Develop and oversee the management of all operational, HSE audits, and training activities

  • Review and endorse all HSE inputs on tender documents for all projects

  • Establish and implement short and long-term HSE goals and objectives for Operational, HSE training, and audits

  • Coordinate with the departments to set Company's HSE targets and objectives

  • Review and update HSEMS / EMS manuals to ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local & international HSE legislations

  • Prepare a budget for HSE Operations and HSE training & audit and monitor the expenditures to remain within the allocated budget

  • Ensure that Corporate HSEMS/ISM / EMS (ISO and ISO 45001 audits are conducted

  • Ensure regular audits and inspections of subcontractor's personnel, sites, and activities

  • Lead the conduction of Behavioral Safety Audits (BSA) and high-profile tours as per HSEMS guidelines

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Science or equivalent

  • Diploma in Safety Management (DipSM)

and/or NEBOSH/IOSH diploma or equivalent

  • NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA / OSHAD or equivalent

  • Certification in HSE audit is preferable

Relevant Experience

Minimum 12 years of related work experience

in similar industries

  • Knowledge in local & international HSE laws and regulations

  • Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic is a distinct advantage

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to represent the Company in high level conferences and meetings

  • Ability to operate effectively in a multinational work environment

  • Excellent leadership, command and control skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving capabilities and decision making skills

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills

Pay: Php40, Php70,000.00 per month
