Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Test new or modified software to ensure it meets user requirements and guidelines.
  • Develop and verify quality standards and test procedures.
  • Review software and documentation for functionality and compliance.
  • Write documentation for program evaluation, testing, and correction.
  • Design and execute manual/automated tests; report results.
  • Escalate potential quality issues to management.
  • Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements.
  • Identify, replicate, and report defects; verify fixes.
  • Plan and execute configuration tasks within deadlines.
  • Monitor program performance post-implementation to prevent issues.
  • Evaluate software feasibility and review functional specifications.
  • Develop and maintain functional test cases and test artifacts.

Team-Specific Duties:

  • Support enterprise test efforts with Test Manager.
  • Participate in Discovery checkpoints and assist in test plan creation.
  • Manage internal testing activities, including configuration and environment setup.
  • Lead defect analysis and reporting during Joint Implementation Testing (JIT).
  • Execute and validate test scenarios during Internal System Testing.
  • Assist with release testing and deployment activities.
  • Support test status communication and feedback.
  • Process files, deliver reports, and assist with system setup during go-live.
  • Execute basic test plans and assist with configuration/enrollment updates.
  • Review carrier configurations and verify EDI destinations.
  • Provide support to Junior Associates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree of any IT/Computer course
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Must have experience with EDI
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and testing methodologies (e.g. AGILE, Waterfall, SCRUM)
  • Ability to create and execute test cases independently
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office
  • Logs issues and defects with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving ability
  • Provides guidance to less experienced associates.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle complex projects
