InterLeukin's Administration team is looking for a Finance Associate Trainee to join us in Manila, Philippines. In this role, you will be expected to participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze actual financial data, and assist with other accounting activities. You should be a motivated team player who has a positive attitude and can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking. You should also possess an understanding of accounting and financial principles while also being collaborative, trustworthy, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn.

If hired, you will be given the option to participate in the Shadow Program, the company's pre-employment internship program wherein interns will be trained to become the next employees and leaders of InterLeukin. This is a 3-to-6-month training program where you will be given tasks and KPIs to achieve depending on the department you are applying for. Additionally, you may request to be trained in another department besides your assigned department. This program is ideal for undergraduates in their senior year and fresh grads.

What you will do

  • Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording while maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Organize a financial filing system that is easily accessible.
  • Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents, to be presented to senior management.
  • Track all payments made for tax preparation and follow up on returns.
  • Speak to clients and government agencies about payments, refunds, and statements.
  • Initiate to work on a bookkeeping software or database.
  • Create sales, inventory reports, and different accounting forms as required by the company.
  • Work with management and HR for budget planning of the company.
  • Create and suggest financial policies and efficient process flows.
  • Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
  • Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company and clients.
  • Take on additional tasks, or projects, to learn more about accounting and office operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree
  • With a working knowledge of different Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Dynamics 365)
  • Knowledgeable in handling Accounts Payables, Receivables and Collection
  • Good written and oral communication skills (Filipino and English)
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Highly organized and protocols oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Honest and trustworthy who can handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
