Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – SMP to coordinate and support on-site construction activities across Structural, Mechanical, and Piping disciplines. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and engineering standards.

The successful candidate will provide technical and construction engineering support across all project phases, with a strong focus on Work Pack development and execution, contractor coordination, and client-facing delivery—preferably within Australian projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate on-site SMP construction activities in line with approved designs, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Prepare, review, and manage Construction Work Packs, including scope, sequencing, materials, ITPs, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor construction progress, cost, and quality; identify risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage technical queries, non-conformances, and variations in coordination with the Project Manager and Contracts team.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders on technical matters, inspections, and delivery coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements, quality standards, and project procedures.
  • Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Engineer – SMP or similar construction engineering role.
  • Proven Work Pack experience for SMP construction activities.
  • Australian project or client experience strongly preferred, including exposure to Australian standards and reporting practices.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Chartered / NER credentials and Power BI experience are an advantage.
  • Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday - Friday, morning shift)
