Job Description:

  1. Website Redesign (Primary Duty)

  2. Lead the full redesign of

  3. Develop wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and interactive mockups
  4. Create a clean, modern visual direction aligned with global fintech/Web3 companies

  5. Ensure strong UX principles for trust, clarity, and ease of use

  6. Brand Direction & Visual Identity

  7. Evolve and unify Izakaya's visual brand system

  8. Create consistent design language for web, mobile, social media, and product

  9. Develop iconography, illustrations, UI components, and brand assets

  10. Product UI/UX Design

  11. Work closely with developers to ship production-ready UI

  12. Create responsive web layouts and scalable design systems

  13. Ensure accessibility, usability, and performance standards

  14. Collaboration & Execution

  15. Work directly with founders, marketing, and engineering

  16. Translate technical product details into clear, intuitive designs

  17. Develop and maintain Figma libraries and design documentation

  18. Long-term Creative Support

  19. Support landing pages, campaigns, banners, and feature rollout designs

  20. Improve user flows, onboarding UI, and conversion flows
  21. Assist with animations, motion graphics, and micro-interactions (optional but great plus)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Design Expertise
  • 3–7+ years of UI/UX or product design experience
  • Strong portfolio showing high-end Web3 or fintech design
  • Mastery of Figma (auto-layout, design systems, prototyping)
  • Experience designing for responsive web (desktop, tablet, mobile)
  • Solid understanding of UX flows, user psychology, and visual hierarchy
  • Web3/Fintech Knowledge
  • Familiar with crypto wallets, exchanges, lending, staking, or DeFi UX
  • Understands trust, security, and compliance-driven design patterns
  • Can benchmark top Web3 players: Nexo, Aave, Fireblocks, Coinbase, Ledger, etc.
  • Technical Understanding
  • Comfortable collaborating with engineers
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS interactions (not coding—just understanding is fine)
  • Familiarity with performance-optimized assets and responsive behavior

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Proactive, fast, reliable, and solution-driven
  • Able to work with high-level founders and move fast with clarity
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable receiving and giving feedback
  • Ownership mindset—treats the entire product as theirs

Preferred but not required

  • Experience in motion design (Lottie, After Effects)
  • Illustration or 3D asset creation
  • Experience with localization/international versions of websites
  • Experience creating marketing assets (IG, X Twitter, banners)
  • Experience in startup or fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent English communication
  • Comfortable with rapid iteration, async communication, and cross-functional work
