Apply nowLearn more Reporting to Demand & Supply Planning ManagerDuty Post Head Office – BGC, TaguigApplication Duration This job posting will remain open until the vacancy is filled.Innovation Planning Manager (Packaging Development)As theInnovation Planning Manager, you will lead the development and execution of new product and packaging initiatives tailored to the Philippine market. This role focuses on projects outside the standard PLM process, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, aligned with company policies, and responsive to local consumer needs. You will be the key driver of packaging innovation, working cross-functionally to bring new insights to life and support the growth of JTI's product portfolio.As an Innovation Planning Manager, you willLead end-to-end project management for packaging development and new product initiatives not covered by the PLM process. Act as the Center of Excellence for innovation and subcontracting purchase orders.Organize and lead project kick-off meetings, track timelines, and ensure alignment across key partners including Brand, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Warehouse, Tollpackers, and Suppliers.Conduct feasibility studies with tollpackers, lead packaging trials, and develop mock-ups. Ensure packaging solutions meet quality, cost, and operational standards.Own and handle contracts with tollpackers and packaging suppliers. Ensure compliance, negotiate terms, and be responsible for amendments in collaboration with Legal and Procurement.Support local market needs by handling bundle governance and leading cross-functional teams in SAP QA or TME environments for product innovation projects .Champion quality standards across all stages of packaging development—from supplier qualification to final distribution—ensuring product integrity and continuous improvementGuide and develop team members (if applicable), and run ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by leadership.Who Are We Looking ForEducation Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.Work Experience At least 10–12 years of experience in supply chain and project management, preferably in the tobacco or FMCG industry.Language Skills Fluent in English, with strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.Technical SkillsProficient in SAP, especially for project and supply chain processesSkilled in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project management toolsFunctional & Leadership SkillsStrong project management and stakeholder coordination skillsExperience in contract management and supplier negotiationsAbility to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiativesAnalytical demeanor with a focus on process improvement and execution perfectionFamiliarity with local market dynamics and regulatory requirements in the PhilippinesAre you ready to join us?
