Performance Engineer

Location: Mandaluyong, 1550, PH

Setup: Hybrid (8x/month onsite)

Position Type: Contract

Shift: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)


Job Overview

We are looking for a Performance Engineer to conduct performance testing, identify system bottlenecks, and ensure applications run efficiently and reliably. The role involves working closely with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to analyze performance results and recommend optimizations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and analyze performance tests.
  • Use LoadRunner, JMeter, and other tools for performance validation.
  • Monitor system performance using AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk.
  • Identify performance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
  • Support web performance optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
  • Work across teams to ensure system stability, scalability, and efficiency.

Must-Have Skills
  • Strong experience in Performance Engineering.
  • Hands-on with LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • Knowledge of performance testing methodologies.
  • Familiar with tools like Fiddler, Quantum Metric, Heap Analyzer, DevTools, ELK.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, Chaos Testing.
  • Good grasp of infrastructure components (routers, load balancers, cloud, networks).
  • Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux.

Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Micro Focus Performance Center.
  • Familiar with APM techniques and capacity planning.
