As an eCommerce Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating advertising videos that drive conversions and deliver measurable results. Your primary focus will be producing videos that perform well in our advertising campaigns – this is the ultimate measure of success in this role. You'll work closely with our marketing, advertising, and creative teams to ensure our video content consistently delivers strong ROI.

Job Responsibilities:
Video Strategy Development
- Identify the most effective visual approaches for each script.
- Generate AI voiceovers to deliver scripts professionally.
- Continuously refine video strategy for improved results.
Content Sourcing & Management
- Source high-quality b-roll and video clips from stock providers and online platforms.
- Utilize AI video generation tools (Runway, Veo, Flux, etc.) to create custom b-roll and visual content.
- Maintain an organized library of video assets for efficient access by the entire team.
Video Production & Editing
- Create complete video advertisements by combining selected clips, transitions, and effects that align with the script's intent.
- Produce multiple variations of video components (hooks, bodies, call-to-actions) to enable comprehensive testing.
- Develop both new videos and iterations of existing content to optimize performance.
Performance Optimization
- Work closely with the advertising team to understand performance metrics and adjust video content accordingly.
- Create video variations specifically designed to overcome performance challenges.
- Maintain a testing mindset, always seeking ways to improve video effectiveness.
Production Expectation
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Ad spend of your videos = your videos must be hitting our targets every month. This helps us measure the quality of the creatives performance-wise.
- Every month, there will be 3-4 ad spend tiers to reach (could change depending on the business focus, strategy, and needs).
Capacity contribution index + project completion rate = (weight% of minutes * [actual minutes/targeted minutes) + (weight% of concepts completed * [actual concepts completed/target concepts completed])
- Weight of minutes = 60% | target = 85mins / month
- Weight of completed concepts = 40% | target = 30 / month
Example:
- Person A = 50mins / 30 concepts
- [.7 * (50/85)] + [.3 * (30/30)] = = 71.177% = Low contributor
- Person B = 70mins / 20 concepts
- [.7 * (70/80)] + [.3 * (20/30)] = = = 81.25% = Mid contributor
- Person C = 60mins / 10 concepts
- [.7 * (40/80)] + [.3 * (10/30)] = = 45% = Sub contributor

(This too could change depending on the business focus, strategy, and needs).
15 Minutes Worth of Video Scripts Finished Weekly
This could take various forms depending on our campaign needs (e.g. new videos involving complete production from scratch or variations and iterations involving modifying specific sections of existing videos to test and optimize performance.)
- Example Scenario 1: Five 3-minute product videos showcasing different benefits
- Example Scenario 2: Three 5-minute testimonial or educational videos
- Example Scenario 3: Fifteen 1-minute ads with different messaging angles
- Or any mix that turns into a total of 15 minutes net new videos produced for the week.
We use the voiceover length or thereadtime tool to determine how long the script is. And "finished" is defined as a video that has been approved by the senior creative strategist or copywriter for launch as ads.
Remember: The ultimate goal is creating videos that perform well in advertising. These minutes are simply the minimum capacity requirement that we expect from the role.
KPI = outcomes, minutes = capacity lever.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in video editing and production, with specific experience in eCommerce or direct response advertising.
- Results Orientation: Demonstrated ability to create videos that drive measurable business results, particularly in advertising performance.
- AI Proficiency: Experience with AI video generation tools (Runway, Veo, Flux, etc.) or strong willingness to master these technologies quickly.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar). Understanding of video formats, resolutions, and specifications for various platforms.
- Portfolio: Impressive portfolio of successful video campaigns with demonstrated performance results.
- Analytical Thinking: Competence in interpreting performance data and translating insights into effective video content strategies.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Self-Directed: Motivated, well-organized, and able to work effectively in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Bonus Skills: Experience in men's wellness/grooming industry or with premium/luxury brands is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: monthly salary (PHP 25,000 gross pay with twice a year increases based on Key Performance Indicators).
- Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses (up to PHP 20,000 per month to start) and incentives for hitting or exceeding targets.
- KPI #1: Ad Spend (current max bonus: PHP 14,000)
- KPI #2: Capacity (current max bonus: PHP 6,000)
- Benefits: Includes government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), 13th-month pay, and paid leave entitlements upon regularization.
- Contract: Full-time employee status following a 6-month probationary period, with regularization based on performance review. Performance will be evaluated based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focused primarily on advertising performance metrics.
Work Setup:
- Contract: This is a full-time, employment position (starting with a 6 month probationary period)
- Location: This is a fully remote position.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM PHT (includes a 1-hour break).
- Equipment: Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable personal device (laptop) for work.
