The Opportunity:

The Shift Manager (Telehealth) is responsible for overseeing the operational performance of Lumina's After-Hours Telehealth program during their assigned shift. This role works alongside Lumina providers to ensure that all incoming calls are answered promptly, missed calls receive timely follow-up, and all call center transfers are completed successfully. The Shift Manager serves as the point of contact for real-time operational support and escalation management.

This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor telehealth call queues to ensure calls are answered within target response times.
  • Track and follow up on all missed or abandoned calls to ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee call center operations to confirm calls are properly transferred to providers.
  • Identify and escalate operational or staffing issues that may impact service delivery.
  • Maintain shift logs and communicate handoff notes to incoming managers or leadership.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Monitor KPIs (call volume, response time, call resolution) and report shift performance.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and EMR systems preferred.
  • Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required.
Service Fee:

Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.

Hours:

US Eastern Standard Time (EST) – 5pm to 8am (Any shift during that time frame)
