The Store Manager runs the operational demands of Landers Superstore - Davao. He/she needs to ensure members are satisfied with their shopping experience while monitoring sales, gross margin and profitability targets.

MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE AREAS

Planning

  • Forecast sales, cost and expense performances (P&L) of the store on a timely basis
  • Develops course of actions to achieve maximum sales, gross margin and profitability targets
  • Understands company's strength & weaknesses, foresees opportunities and anticipates threats to the business

Leading

  • Motivates and guide the team to work harmoniously in order to achieve its goals
  • Creates a healthy communication between levels of organization
  • Makes sound and prompt decisions and ability to take responsibility for the actions undertaken
  • Acts professionally and lead by example to all employees

Organizing

  • Defines and arranges activities into logical and practical assignments to attain desired results
  • Delegates or assigns appropriate responsibilities to subordinates with authority
  • Consolidates efforts of the component functions of assigned task and harmoniously fits assignment with other components into an integrated company effort

Controlling

  • Assess and evaluates KPI versus the agreed & desired objectives in order to evaluate proper course of actions to meet the changing demands of new situations

KEY RESULT AREAS

Member Service

  • Ensures highest level of member service satisfaction and safety standards are given to each member at all times
  • Provides members with "best member service experiences" while shopping in the warehouse. Best Member Service Experience is defined as clean, accurate pricing, courteous staff, good atmosphere and fast & efficient check out

Staff / People Management

  • Develops and trains managers to become highly productive, result oriented and efficient leader- manager of the warehouse
  • Provides opportunities for growth to all potential employees
  • Provides a healthy and safe working environment to all employees
  • Conducts weekly Managers Meeting
  • Timely accomplishment of Performance Appraisal Report of department heads

Stocks Management

  • Reviews and evaluates Sales Penetrations and Top SKUs per departments and categories
  • Reviews and approves ordering and transfer of merchandise
  • Ensures timely, quality and complete receiving and transfer of all merchandise and non-merchandise items inside the warehouse
  • Attainment of desired service level of stocks on the floor
  • Approves inventory adjustments
  • Ensures minimal shrinkage or merchandise losses according to desired results

Merchandise Management

  • Ensures effective implementation of 6 Rights of Merchandising
  • Strategizes floor plan lay out of the warehouse thru proper coordination with buying and other support services

Sales Management

  • Ensures attainment of targeted sales performance and penetration in relation to member basket size or quantity per basket
