Job Specifications:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license

Work Experience:

Areas of Expertise:

  • Financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management.
  • Audit coordination and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
  • ERP systems knowledge, tax compliance, and payroll expertise.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and high ethical standards.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities.
  2. Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
  3. Lead and manage the accounting team, fostering productivity and professional development.
  4. Develop and monitor internal controls to protect organizational assets.
  5. Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.
  6. Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting regulations.
  7. Manage internal and external audits, ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance.
  8. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  9. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  10. Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and support tax compliance efforts.
  11. Experience in handling BIR cases.
