Job Overview

The BIM Detailers will be responsible for creating precise development of 3D Building Information Models (BIM) for rebar and steel reinforcement within various concrete structures. This role involves translating structural engineer's designs into detailed rebar fabrication and installation drawings, ensuring constructability, compliance with industry standards, and accuracy of rebar quantities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of specialized experience in rebar detailing, with a strong emphasis on 3D BIM modeling.
• Proficiency in rebar detailing software such as Tekla Structures (required), AutoCAD (with rebar detailing plugins), Revit (with rebar extensions), or similar platforms.
• In-depth understanding of rebar standards, bending schedules, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings, specifications, and engineer's notes for concrete and rebar.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities within a project team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for rebar and steel reinforcement for various concrete elements (foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, etc.).
• Generate accurate 2D rebar shop drawings, bending schedules, bar lists, and material summaries directly from the BIM models.
• Ensure all rebar models and documentation comply with project structural requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and industry detailing standards.
• Identify and resolve rebar clashes with other rebar elements, embedded items, and structural components.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers, BIM Coordinators, and fabrication teams to ensure design intent and constructability.
• Perform self-quality checks on rebar models and drawings to identify and correct errors before internal review.
• Manage revisions and updates to rebar models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of rebar detailing processes and BIM workflows.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php70,000.00 per month
