About the role

Philtrust Bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cashier to join our Tarlac City branch. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately handling a wide range of financial transactions and providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients. What you'll be doing

  1. Receiving and processing customer deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy
  2. Balancing cash drawers and verifying the accuracy of transactions at the end of each shift
  3. Providing excellent customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive banking experience
  4. Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with customers
  5. Adhering to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  6. Collaborating with branch team members to support the overall success of the Tarlac City location

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a cashier or similar customer-facing role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  2. Strong numerical and financial transaction processing skills, with a keen attention to detail
  3. Excellent customer service orientation, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  4. Proficiency in using banking software and office productivity tools
  5. A high school diploma or equivalent, with additional training or certification in banking or finance preferred
  6. Fluency in English and the local language (Tagalog) is essential
