Sun Savings Bank, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Branch Cashier or Senior Teller to be the face of our branch and the heart of our daily operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Telling & Cashiering: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, accurately and efficiently processing a wide range of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, fund transfers, and loan payments.
  • Branch Operations: Perform daily branch opening and closing procedures, including cash balancing, vault reconciliation, and the preparation of required reports.
  • Customer Service: Provide a superior customer experience by actively listening to and promptly resolving customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Account & Loan Support: Assist with the smooth and efficient processing of new accounts and loan applications by collecting, verifying, and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Sales & Referrals: Proactively identify customer needs and cross-sell a variety of bank products and services to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Security & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, proactively identifying and reporting any suspicious activity to ensure the security of the branch and our customers.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a tellering, cashiering, or similar branch operations role within a bank or financial institution is essential.
  • Strong cash handling, balancing, and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on building positive customer relationships.
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical abilities.
  • College graduate of a business-related course is preferred.
  • Willingness to be assigned to Cebu City and other locations outside Cebu province.
