Travel Consultant – Holiday Sales & Bookings
About the Role
We're looking for a Travel Consultant, someone who can converse naturally, relate to customers, and close holiday bookings with confidence and care.
At Hoot Holidays, your job is to sell unforgettable travel experiences, not follow a script. You'll own the customer relationship from inquiry to post-trip support — using tools like Amadeus, paired with strong communication skills and destination knowledge across Southeast Asia and the South Pacific.
This is a sales-driven role where success is measured not just by how well you handle bookings, but by how well you understand the customer and guide them toward the best option.

Monthly Base Salary: PHP33,000
**As part of our hiring process, applicants will be invited to take a short pen-and-paper exam in person at our BGC office. The initial interview will be conducted right after the exam.
What We're looking for
Qualifications & Experience-
2 years of experience in retail or wholesale travel

Hands-on experience using Amadeus or any major GDS

Natural, confident English communication — written and spoken

Relatable personality — someone who connects with people, not reads to them

Ability to sell, not just serve — this role is about building genuine relationships, not taking orders. Your goal is to connect with customers, understand their needs, and create experiences that bring them back for more.

Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills

Comfortable working without a script — adaptable, conversational, and professional

A passion for travel and desire to go above and beyond

Manage inbound holiday inquiries via email or phone — no script, just real conversations

Deliver genuine, high-quality customer service while meeting sales KPIs

Handle end-to-end booking processes via Amadeus or similar GDS

Recommend destinations and itineraries that fit the client's needs and preferences

Manage ticketing, modifications, and follow-ups with accuracy and urgency

Own customer concerns and work toward resolution

Collaborate with the AU-based team and attend regular training or product updates

Participate in occasional familiarization (FAM) trips

Track and follow up with past customers to build long-term relationships and encourage repeat bookings
