Position Overview
The Branch Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the branch's accounting operations by processing sales-related transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and assisting in branch cash flow management. The role ensures timely communication and coordination with the Head Office (HO) to maintain accurate financial records and smooth branch operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Sales Orders (SO), issue Sales Invoices (SI), and Collection Receipts (CR) in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all sales documents before release to customers.
- Record Sales Orders and Sales Invoices into the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure entries comply with accounting standards and company procedures.
- Prepare and submit weekly sales and collection reports to Head Office for consolidation.
- Assist in generating other accounting-related reports as required by management.
- Assist in reconciling customer accounts to ensure balances are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate with customers for payment follow-up and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner.
- Scan and organize accounting documents (invoices, receipts, vouchers, etc.) for digital filing.
- Send scanned and hard copies of required documents to Head Office within agreed timelines.
- Prepare PCF replenishment requests with complete supporting documents.
- Assist in monitoring branch cash inflows and outflows.
- Support the preparation of cash flow reports for review by Treasury Officer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- At least with 1 year experienced on same field (fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome).
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least with basic experience or knowledge on any accounting software/system
- Willing to assign in Ayala Makati.
