Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Lead to join our Lawson store team As a Team Lead, you will be the key person in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of dedicated associates. You will be fully responsible for achieving store goals, maintaining store standards, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management:

  • Supervise and motivate a team of store associates.

  • Provide training and guidance to new and existing team members.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members effectively.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

  • Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving complaints.

  • Ensure that all team members are providing excellent customer service.
  • Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the customer experience.

  • Store Operations:

  • Manage inventory levels and order merchandise.

  • Ensure that shelves are stocked and displays are well-maintained.
  • Monitor product freshness and remove expired items.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Open and close the store.
  • Handle cash deposits and bank transactions.

  • Loss Prevention & Safety:

  • Monitor store activity to prevent theft and ensure safety.

  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Education: At least 2nd year college level, preferably in a business or management-related course.

  • Experience:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.

  • Prior experience in a leadership role is a plus.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
