Working under the direction of the Sr. Finance Manager, the Sr. Accountant/Finance Officer is responsible for supervising QuickBooks Entries, Reports (Management Reports, QuickBooks and Financial Statements) and BIR Compliances. Supervises Jr. Accountant in all accounting and finance related clerical tasks.

  • Supervise Jr. Accountant in regular (Daily, Weekly and Monthly) Reports generation and all accounting and finance related clerical tasks
  • Manage regular QuickBooks entries (Accounts Payable, Payments, Accounts Receivable, Collections, General Journal Entries) and reporting
  • Update of all Collectible Accounts (Corporate, Loans and other collections) and pending collectibles
  • Coordinates with Tenant Point of Contact for uncollected Rental Dues and collections
  • Coordinate with Tax consultant on BIR Compliances
  • Handle AR management of critical accounts to be assigned including but not limited to collection follow up, dispute management, client meeting and reconciliation
  • Assist in annual revenue and operation budget preparation for billing and collection section
  • Assist in monthly analyzation of budget versus annually projected revenues
  • Ensure all payments are processed promptly and correctly

  • Ensure all cash collections are deposited intact, and Cheques (including PDCs) are deposited when due

  • Monitor PDCs on hand and ensures completeness of PDCs Inventory

  • Conduct Surprise Cash counts with Petty Cash Custodian when necessary
  • Other duties or tasks as required

Job Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Graduate
  • Advanced Excel User
  • Minimum 5 Years progressive Accounting Experience (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Financial Statements)
  • Working experience in QuickBooks Desktop ERP
  • Experience in BIR Compliance
  • Good communication and excellent inter-personal skills
  • A team player who is responsible, diplomatic and confident at dealing with people at all levels and different backgrounds
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and strict adherence to given deadlines
  • Approachable and willingness to listen and assist finance and non-finance colleagues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php55,000.00 per month
