Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Java Developer

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as Lead Consultant, Java Developer. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and related technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring optimal application performance. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in APIs and database management to support business-critical systems.

Responsibilities

· Develop, test, and maintain applications using Java 8 (preferably Java 11), SQL, JPA, and APIs like RestEasy or Spring Boot.

· Write efficient SQL queries, including stored procedures, to manage and manipulate data effectively.

· Utilize advanced Java features such as Streams and Lambdas to optimize application performance.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

· Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews and unit testing.

· Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure seamless functionality.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

· Hands-on experience with Java 8 (including Streams and Lambdas).

· Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write stored procedures.

· Strong understanding of JPA for database interaction.

· Experience developing APIs using RestEasy or Spring Boot.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

· Experience working with cloud technologies, including AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

· Familiarity with microservices architecture and deployment in cloud environments.

· Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines.
