Client: A leading provider of smart mobility technology solutions that make transportation safer, smarter and more connected. About the RoleWe are seeking a talented Java Developer with a strong passion for cloud technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java development and a deep understanding of AWS and Kubernetes.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and resilient cloud-native applications. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices. Leverage AWS services effectively, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and other relevant services.

Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Optimize application performance and scalability on the AWS cloud. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a production environment.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices. Required Skills and ExperienceStrong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented design principles. Experience with Spring Boot or other Java frameworks.

Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, etc.). In-depth knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies. Understanding of cloud-native application development principles.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Desired Skills and ExperienceExperience with serverless computing and microservices architecture. Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL). Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).

AWS certifications (e.g., Developer, Solutions Architect). Kubernetes certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Application Developer). Work DetailsShift: Monday to Friday: 6:00am- 3:00pm or 7:00am- 4:00pm PH Time; depending on business needsLocation: Makati | *Work from Home
