About the role

S&L Fine Foods is seeking an experienced and skilled Butcher to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting, preparing, and packaging high-quality meats to meet the needs of our discerning customers. This is a full-time position within our thriving food services business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Expertly cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat, poultry, and seafood
  2. Providing excellent customer service by offering product recommendations and sharing cooking tips
  3. Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
  4. Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  5. Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment
  6. Contributing to the overall success of the business through your dedication and attention to detail

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2-3 years of experience as a professional Butcher, preferably in a retail or commercial setting
  2. Comprehensive knowledge of different cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, and the ability to prepare them to the highest standards
  3. Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide expert advice and recommendations
  4. Excellent hand-eye coordination, precision, and attention to detail
  5. A keen interest in food, cooking, and the culinary industry
  6. The ability to work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team
  7. Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
  8. Willing to be assigned in BGC after 2 months of paid training.
