About the role

As an Accounting Staff at QQ English, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of its accounting processes. This full-time position is based in Cebu City, Cebu.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger management
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and internal controls
  • Provide support to the management team by presenting financial data and insights
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and legal requirements

What we're looking for

  • Relevant degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Extremely proficient in Excel, SAP, and Quickbook.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
