The Talent Acquisition Operations SME will design, improve, and manage recruiting processes, systems, and frameworks to ensure smooth, efficient, and scalable hiring. The role needs strong expertise in recruitment operations, process improvement, compliance, technology (ATS), and data analysis to deliver an excellent experience for both candidates and recruiters.
Key Responsibilities1. TA Operations & Process Excellence
- Create, update, and improve SOPs for the entire recruitment process.
- Spot and fix gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in hiring workflows.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, global regulations, and company policies.
- Work closely with TA leaders to align processes with workforce plans and hiring goals.
2. Technology & Tools Management
- Act as the subject matter expert for ATS, CRM, HRSS integrations, and other hiring tools.
- Manage ATS setup, upgrades, issue resolution, and vendor coordination.
- Assess new recruitment technologies and suggest adoption when beneficial.
- Train recruiters, coordinators, and hiring managers to effectively use systems/tools.
3. Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain dashboards and metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, etc.).
- Analyze hiring data and provide insights to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Deliver regular reports on hiring trends, productivity, and pipeline health to leadership.
4. Stakeholder Management & Support
- Be the go-to person for recruiters, coordinators, and HRBPs for operational queries.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, HR Ops, and IT for smooth TA operations.
- Drive programs that enable recruiters to work consistently and effectively.
5. Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Lead TA projects at global or regional levels (system rollouts, automation, compliance audits, etc.).
- Research and apply industry best practices to improve operations.
- Support projects focused on employer branding, candidate experience, and DEI improvements.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment operations, compliance, and HR policies.
- Skilled with ATS platforms (Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo, SuccessFactors, etc.).
- Good analytical skills with Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong project management and process improvement background.
- Able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and training skills.
- Problem-solving and change management expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in HR (preferred) or any other field.
- 7+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 3+ years in TA operations.
- Proven experience managing recruitment systems and driving process improvements.
- Experience in global or matrixed organizations is preferred.
- HR/Recruiting/Project Management certifications (SHRM, PHR, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
- Faster hiring cycles and lower cost-per-hire through improved operations.
- Higher recruiter and candidate satisfaction scores.
- Strong compliance results with minimal operational risk.
- Effective use and adoption of TA systems and tools.
- Accurate and timely hiring insights delivered to leadership.
