Position Overview
The Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and will support the General Manager by taking ownership of training and development, and general administration. We are seeking someone who takes initiative, is accountable, and drives operational excellence with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service and a consistently excellent guest experience.
- Uphold brand standards, ensuring all details, from flow to guest interaction, reflect the restaurant's energy and culture.
- Act as a key point of contact for operational needs during service, supporting the GM in maintaining efficiency and team coordination.
People & Training
- Lead scheduling and ensure efficient staffing across shifts.
- Develop and coach the team through ongoing training, feedback, and performance follow-up.
- Support a culture of accountability, positivity, and teamwork.
Administration & Reporting
- Manage administrative tasks, including preparation of reports, attendance tracking, and operational documentation.
- Maintain and improve internal systems and processes in collaboration with the management team.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in reporting operational insights to management.
Leadership & Culture
- Take initiative in identifying and solving problems before they escalate.
- Support management in implementing new systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead by example in embodying values, professional, warm, and guest-focused.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in premium, luxury, or high-volume hospitality environments.
- At least 1-2 years in a management role, supervising teams and operations in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong understanding of high-level hospitality standards and guest-centric service culture.
- Experience in designing, implementing or improving operational systems and SOPs (system building).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Solid experience in administrative and operational tasks, including reporting, coordination and system use.
- International experience or exposure to global restaurant/hospitality operations is preferred.
- You must demonstrate a proactive mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to act independently with accountability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30, Php50,000.00 per month
