Job Description

As a SolidWorks Draftsperson / Industrial Designer, you'll create detailed technical drawings and renderings for sophisticated washroom products. You'll collaborate with international teams, interface with clients, and contribute to product innovations that fuse style, function, and sustainability.

Job Overview

Employment type: Full-Time

Shift: Monday to Friday (3x week in the office, 2x work from home), 07:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Salary: PHP 58,000 to PHP 80,000

Work setup: Hybrid, Makati

The Qualifications We Seek

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Draftsperson, Industrial Designer, or in a similar role
• Proficiency in CAD software SolidWorks (DraftSite, AutoCAD, and REVIT are desirable but not mandatory)
• Ability to produce high-quality renders (any software)
• Experience using DriveWorks
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and industrial design principles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings and designs
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams and clients
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Degree or certification in Industrial Design, Drafting, or a related field

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience in product development for furniture, cabinetry, or metal bending
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials
• Experience with 3D printing or rapid prototyping technologies
• Experience operating CNC machinery

Required:

• Fluency in English
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Experience working with complex SolidWorks assemblies (50 components)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience managing clients

Your Daily Tasks

• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software (SolidWorks, DraftSite, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Communicate with clients to gather requirements, present concepts, and integrate feedback.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine product designs
• Develop innovative, functional, and visually striking design solutions.
• Modify and enhance existing designs based on internal and client input.
• Interpret and apply industry standards, specifications, and regulations to all designs.
• Produce 3D models and prototypes to test and visualize concepts.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
• Ensure all outputs meet quality, durability, and safety standards.
• Offer support during production to troubleshoot design-related concerns.
• Build strong client relationships through effective updates and expectation management.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and design methodologies.
