Job Description
As a Loan Administrator, you will support brokers by clarifying policies, implementing product updates, and resolving inquiries. You'll provide SME advice, manage lender communications, and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless loan processes for the network.
Job Overview
Employment type: Project-based for 3 months (Oct-Dec 2025)
Shift: Day shift, Weekends off
Work setup: Permanent WFH

The Qualifications We Seek
- Minimum 2 years of experience in residential lending
- At least 1 year of administrative support experience in the AU mortgage industry, including credit management
- Hands-on experience with loan lodgement processes
- Proficient in ApplyOnline and property valuation tools (CoreLogic)
- Strong understanding of lending terminology, policies, and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong task prioritization and ability to manage shifting deadlines
- Self-managed with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Critical thinker with a proactive approach
- Professional, personable, and relationship-focused
- Team player with a results-driven mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) or equivalent is highly preferred
Your Daily Tasks
- Interpret, clarify, and implement product changes in the product catalogue and lender policy database
- Provide support to the broker network through email, telephone, and the Lending Advice Forum
- Offer SME advice to help brokers understand policies, navigate scenarios, and structure deals
- Troubleshoot product and policy issues as they arise
- Communicate lender updates and changes to the franchise network
