  1. Description

The Warehouse Team Leader is the officer-in-charge after the supervisor and will be the point person of each warehouse site in terms of its operations. This position reports to the supervisor any concerns and updates in the assigned warehouse site.

  1. Principal Responsibilities

  2. Oversees the daily warehouse operations in the assigned warehouse.

  3. Responsible for the efficient processing of orders received by the warehouse.

  4. Manages the overall inventory count in the warehouse and ensures proper cycle count to minimize variance and losses.

  5. Supervises the checkers performance in terms of integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.

  6. Ensures that the warehousemen and operators are strictly following all work instructions and safety practices.

  7. Reviews the current practices and recommends improvement in the warehouse operations to the supervisor.

  8. Provides coaching to warehouse personnel and aligns with the supervisor in handling the issues and concerns with the personnel.

  9. Properly coordinates with the dispatcher for the timely loading of items for delivery.

  10. Ensures all documents in the warehouse are organized, filed or submitted properly.

  11. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

  12. Education and Qualifications

  13. Bachelor's degree holder or certificate in supply chain management

  14. Preferably with experience in the tire industry.

  15. With at least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations.

  16. With BOSH certificate is an advantage

  17. Skills and Specifications

  18. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

  19. Highly organized and keen to details

  20. Knowledgeable in Good Warehouse Practices (GWP)

  21. Good communication skills

  22. Strong Leadership skills
