Job Summary:

The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely. The role involves supervising warehouse staff, monitoring inventory accuracy, and maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching goods.
  • Lead, motivate, and support warehouse staff to achieve productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation and documentation.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all warehouse equipment and tools are properly maintained and used safely.
  • Implement and enforce safety, sanitation, and housekeeping standards.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly warehouse reports to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Purchasing, Logistics, Production, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Train and coach team members on warehouse processes and safety protocols.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic MS Office tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Physically fit and able to handle warehouse demands.
