Black & White Engineering is a multi-award-winning engineering consultancy, with nearly -750 employees in teams based in our UK, European, Middle East and Asia Pacific offices. We have been providing a wide range of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) engineering consultancy services since 2007.

Our engineering expertise reaches across all sectors of the construction industry, providing pragmatic and practical design solutions to ensure our projects are spatially and operationally efficient. Our design process fully considers the installation and maintenance practicalities on site.

Due to the continued growth and expansion of our Global Finance, we are looking to recruit a Finance Executive to support Manila and APAC offices.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Finance Support - Manila Office & APAC

    • Manage account entries, documents, payments & finances for the company.

    • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, & other reports

    • Uploading of Vendor invoices in the software

    • Assist in Finance Monthly Closing as needed. This includes recording adjustments for prepayments, accruals, depreciations etc.

  • Preparation and uploading of external and intercompany invoices in timely manner.

  • Collection of debts (support)

  • Liaison with local authorities for statutory compliance, statutory auditors including support in timely finalisation & filing of statutory returns.

  • Liaison with insurance brokers for locally placed policies

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting / Finance or related field

  • 3 years proven working experience in the accounting and finance.

  • Well versed in AP, AR, General Accounting and Bookkeeping

  • Experience in PEZA, BIR and local compliance is desirable

  • Strong background and knowledge in ERP System- preferably D365

  • Excellent report-writing and English communication skills.

  • Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail

  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.

  • Self-starter demonstrating commitment, a strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders and authorities in Manila.
