The
Medical Sales Lead
at Guardant Health AMEA plays a vital role in advancing the company's mission to transform cancer care through genomic insights. The primary goal is to deliver outstanding customer experience and drive commercial success for the Guardant portfolios. This field-based role focuses on building relationships with healthcare professionals and supporting the integration/adoption of the GH diagnostic portfolio into clinical practice in country and has the potential to handle/expand to other SEA countries.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Customer Partnership:
Act as the main point of contact for customers, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and delivering tailored, value-driven solutions that go beyond expectations. - Scientific Expertise:
Serve as the subject matter expert on the company's diagnostic solutions and the broader field of precision oncology. - Market and Sales Monitoring:
achieve sales targets and objectives in assigned territory/region. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and institutions to facilitate the adoption of genomic testing in oncology. - Medical Education:
Deliver presentations, training, and workshops to healthcare providers, ensuring a deep understanding of genomic insights and their clinical application. - Support for Molecular Tumor Boards:
Plan, execute, and support Molecular Tumor Boards (MTBs) across the region to aid in clinical decision-making and patient management. - Real-World Evidence Generation:
Collaborate with clinical and research communities to design and execute real-world evidence (RWE) studies demonstrating the value of genomic testing in oncology. - Cross-functional collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, medical, communications, distributor etc.) to align strategies with overall objectives. - Market Insights:
Collect and analyze insights from healthcare professionals to inform product development, market strategy, and educational initiatives. - Business Planning:
Support business planning by identifying market potential and opportunities, while analyzing sales and market trends to propose and implement corrective actions when necessary. - Customer Relationship Management:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback. - Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Planning, preparation and execution of marketing initiatives, marketing campaigns, events, exhibitions with various channels.
Qualifications and Experiences
- Medical or life science degree, preferably in molecular genetics or related field
- Minimum 3 years in a similar field-based medical role, ideally in oncology or molecular diagnostics
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
- Understanding of the Southeast Asian healthcare landscape, including key markets such as Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, and others
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrate GH's Values by acting with integrity, respect and trust
- Willing to travel extensively across the region as required
