The
Medical Lead, SEA
at Guardant Health AMEA plays a vital role in advancing the company's mission to transform cancer care through genomic insights. This field-based role focuses on building relationships with healthcare professionals and supporting the integration/adoption of the GH diagnostic portfolio into clinical practice in country and has the potential to handle/expand to other SEA countries.

Responsibilities

  • Scientific Expertise:
    Serve as the subject matter expert on the company's diagnostic solutions and the broader field of precision oncology.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and institutions to facilitate the adoption of genomic testing in oncology.
  • Medical Education:
    Deliver presentations, training, and workshops to healthcare providers, ensuring a deep understanding of genomic insights and their clinical application.
  • Support for Molecular Tumor Boards:
    Plan, execute, and support Molecular Tumor Boards (MTBs) across the region to aid in clinical decision-making and patient management.
  • Real-World Evidence Generation:
    Collaborate with clinical and research communities to design and execute real-world evidence (RWE) studies demonstrating the value of genomic testing in oncology.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:
    Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, medical, communications, distributor etc.) to align strategies with overall objectives.
  • Market Insights:
    Collect and analyze insights from healthcare professionals to inform product development, market strategy, and educational initiatives.

Qualifications and Experiences

  • MD, MBBS or PhD in medicine or life sciences field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Oncology Medical Affairs
  • Clinical expertise or related experience in relevant specialities highly desirable
  • Prior experience in Medical Affairs and/or the introduction of a novel clinical product
  • Proven ability to work at all levels within the Department and cross-functionally to support team goals
  • Strong problem-solving skills, good attention to detail, time management, and personal initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written English communication skills
  • Travel required, occasionally up to 5 days within a week to meet experts, and attend physician education talks and conferences, including speciality society scientific meetings (will require some weekend work)
  • Requires the ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously, and work in a high-paced, high-energy environment.
