Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Patent Specialist at Cruz

Marcelo & Tenefrancia. As a Patent Specialist, you will:

  • Conduct patent searches
  • Draft patent claims
  • Prepare and file patent applications
  • Monitor applications and assist attorneys in filing responses
  • Docket patent deadlines and maintain databases
  • Independently monitor deadlines
  • Maintain and update files
  • Prepare status reports
  • Prepare fee quotes
  • Coordinate with Billing Department

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Science or Engineering, preferably related to Chemistry or Computer Science
  • Related work experience in Patents will be an advantage
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Motivated with a positive attitude
  • Eager to learn and flexible
  • Responsible, thorough and diligent
  • Can work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Ability to cope with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment handling multiple accounts with accuracy and efficiency
  • Willing to work in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig
