Salary Range: ₱70,000 - ₱100,000

The role

The Business Group Manager is responsible for overseeing the business operations of multiple departments or business units within a supply chain company. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure that business objectives are met and operations run smoothly.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement business strategies and plans for the group of departments or business units.
• Align departmental goals with overall company objectives.
• Monitor market trends and business opportunities to drive growth and efficiency.

Financial Management

• Oversee budget planning, allocation, and management for the group.
• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Implement cost-control measures and financial strategies to enhance profitability.

Operational Oversight

• Ensure efficient and effective operations across the departments or business units.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Leadership and Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop managers and teams within the group.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and responsibilities.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure cohesive and integrated business strategies.
• Facilitate communication and cooperation between business units.

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Address and resolve high-level client issues and concerns.
• Represent the company at industry events and meetings as needed.

Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare and present business performance reports to senior management.
• Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance against goals and identify improvement opportunities.
• Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Oversee audits and reviews to ensure operational integrity.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in business management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the supply chain or logistics industry.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and operational efficiency.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in business management software and tools.
• Ability to travel as needed to support business operations and meet with clients and stakeholders
