Job Summary:
The Invoicer is responsible for preparing, issuing, and recording accurate invoices/receipts for goods and services provided by the company. The role ensures proper documentation of sales transactions, coordination with sales and accounting teams, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices/receipts to customers based on approved delivery notes or sales orders.
- Check accuracy of prices, quantities, and terms before releasing invoices.
- Encode and maintain invoice records in the system or logbook.
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and accounting staff to confirm deliveries and payments.
- Monitor and file copies of invoices, receipts, and other related documents.
- Assist in preparing reports on daily, weekly, or monthly sales/invoice transactions.
- Handle customer inquiries related to invoices and receipts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government requirements (if applicable).
- Support the accounting department in collection follow-ups and reconciliation.
- Perform other clerical or administrative duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma, vocational course, or college level (accounting/finance background is an advantage).
- Experience in invoicing, cashiering, or clerical roles preferred.
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices.
- Computer literate (MS Office, Excel, invoicing systems).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers.
- Honest, reliable, and organized.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Conditions:
- Office-based, with coordination across departments (sales, warehouse, accounting).
- Regular working hours, may require overtime during peak operations.
