Job Description

We are seeking a BIAN Business Analyst 2 to join our growing team supporting digital banking transformation initiatives. This role requires strong domain knowledge in BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) and the ability to analyze, model, and define complex banking business processes and data structures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand and apply BIAN Service Domains, Behavior Qualifiers, and Control Records
  • Design service domain interactions and incorporate them into workflow models
  • Conduct process modeling and business object data mapping
  • Create and maintain logical data models aligned with business requirements
  • Lead and facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to identify process and capability gaps
  • Develop comprehensive business capability models
  • Analyze business processes to identify API interactions and propose Swagger-based API contracts
  • Conduct and lead requirements gathering sessions, identifying gaps between client needs and existing products
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions to clients
  • Deliver detailed business specifications for development and testing teams
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of retail banking products such as CASA, Fixed Deposits, Islamic Banking Products, and Credit Cards
  • Define and present end-to-end processes using user journeys

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of BIAN framework; BIAN certification is highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience in API design and Swagger definitions
  • Expertise in data mapping, logical data modeling, and process modeling tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
