Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term business development strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify new markets, customer segments, and revenue streams.
- Lead market research, competitive analysis, and trend monitoring to support strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present business plans, forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.
Revenue & Partnerships
- Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, upselling, and strategic partnerships.
- Establish, negotiate, and manage key partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures.
- Lead high-level negotiations and close major deals with clients and partners.
- Ensure strong pipeline management and achievement of sales and growth targets.
Team Leadership & Management
- Build, lead, mentor, and motivate the business development team.
- Set KPIs, performance targets, and development plans for team members.
- Foster a performance-driven and collaborative team culture.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and networking events.
- Ensure excellent customer experience and long-term client retention.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Establish and improve business development processes, tools, and CRM systems.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field
- (MBA or Master's degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
- Proven experience in a leadership or senior management capacity.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
- Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in developing partnerships and managing complex deals.
