Position: Back-End Developer

Location: Hybrid – Makati / BGC, Taguig

Schedule: Dayshift

Start Date: ASAP / Ideally this month

What You'll Do


• Build, enhance, and maintain back-end applications and APIs


• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following industry best practices


• Create and maintain unit tests before QA handoff


• Diagnose and resolve software issues quickly


• Participate in requirement discussions and design reviews


• Manage deployments across staging environments


• Maintain and handle Git repositories and branching strategies


• Provide timely project status updates to the Project Manager


• Review code from Software Engineers to ensure quality


• Stay updated on the latest backend and cloud technologies

What We're Looking For


• Strong experience with , or NestJS


• Minimum 4-6 years of professional back-end development experience required


• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript


• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices


• At least 3+ years of hands-on production experience with microservices architecture


• Proficiency with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB


• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred)


• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)


• Familiar with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Grafana)


• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills


• Comfortable working in a hybrid, collaborative environment
