
Commissary Supervisor

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Net profit improvement
- Strict implementation of cost saving programs
- Ensures minimal spoilage by monitoring near expiry/non-moving items and maintaining efficient stocks buffering.
- Monitors the production output and ensures that the targets are being achieved
Procurement
- Maintains a professional business relationship with procurement team.
- Coordinates the movement of raw materials and monthly projection.
- Minimize unnecessary purchases by monitoring the stocks.
Production / Operations
- Managing workflow
- Creating and managing team schedules
- Ensure and monitor delivery completeness
- Ensure set targets are timely achieved
- Analyzes production processes and develops cost reduction program
- Implement and maintain production policies and procedures
- Effectively communicate goals, expectations and updates to team as well as relaying feedback and concerns from team to management.
Warehouse / Inventory Management
- Ensure that the products are properly stored, accounted for and managed
- Ensure that the level of inventory is within the set buffer
- Create monthly forecast based on the movement of the raw materials
- Manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed
- Work with other departments to ensure that the materials and resources are available when needed
- Ensure that FIFO and FEFO are followed
- Suggest disposition for near expiry and non-moving items
Logistics
- Ensure that all items for delivery are dispatched on time
- Monitors the time in and out of the logistics
Quliaty Assurance
- Ensure that product quality meets the customers' expectations.
- Ensure that GMP is strictly followed.
- Conducts product quality monitoring
- Ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
- Consistently monitor product distribution and should be able to respond to product recall
- Ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained
Research and Development
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste or spoilages
- Continuous study to further improve product quality and speed up production process
- Coordinate updates with culinary team
Report and Data Generation
- Ensure accurate billing and document processing of all receipts
- Timely submission of the following reports:
- QB – Stock In
- Petty Cash, Reimbursement & Liquidation (if needed)
- Store Sales and Employee sales
- Customer Complaints
- Inventory
- Spoilages
- Credit Memo
- Production Output
- Timekeeping
- Evaluation
Permit Monitoring
Other Tasks
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned either individually or as part of a committee.
- Help to resolve employee issues and disputes
- Identify and address issues and challenges within the team or task
- Evaluates employees and provide constructive feedback
- Documenting performance, reporting on team progress and escalating issues to senior management when necessary
- Ensure and report equipment performance
Working conditions: Office-based, 5 days a week; 9.6 hours a day
Job qualifications:
College graduate of food related course or B.S. Industrial Engineering/Food Technology
At least 2 years work experience of handling people
Knowledge in food production processes, equipment, GMP, HACCP and alike
Excellent organizational management skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a good team player and dedicated
Strong working knowledge of production planning, scheduling and inventory management
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse team and coaching skills
Ability to motivate, guide and inspire a team
Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
Detail-oriented and thorough, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in computer and Microsoft Office Applications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php29, Php30,000.00 per month
