Job Description:

  • Prepare detailed project cost estimates using itemized cost analysis.
  • Validate additional costs and change orders with proper documentation.
  • Conduct site assessments to support accurate cost estimations.
  • Assist the Bids & Awards Committee with special project cost proposals.
  • Apply value engineering to identify and implement cost-saving solutions.
  • Review and analyze budgets for takeover projects to assess risks and recommend adjustments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cost estimation, cost control, or quantity surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry-standard estimating practices.
  • Proficient in cost estimation software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, CostX, PlanSwift, Primavera, or similar).
  • Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage
  • Familiarity with contract administration and change order processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
