Customer Service/Operations Assistant

Title: Part-Time Customer Service/Operations Assistant (eCommerce)
Hours: 4 hours/day | Remote | PHT 9pm-1am
Pay: $120 per week ($6 per hour)
Role Overview:
We're hiring our first dedicated customer service rep to help manage incoming customer inquiries, solve order issues, process returns, and support day-to-day store operations. You'll play a crucial role in helping customers feel heard and supported.
Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries via email and chat (Gmail, Shopify Inbox, and our phone provider)
Handle order status questions, delivery issues, return requests, and product questions
Answer phone calls and speak to customers about their needs
Handle fulfillment of dropshipped orders by paying invoices and coordinating with manufacturers
Create shipping labels for in-stock items
Create and document SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for repeatable tasks
During your application, use the audiophile customer's name (Jeff) in your response.
Escalate complex issues to the owner
Track open tickets and follow up with customers until resolved
Requirements:
Excellent written English communication
1+ year experience in customer service, fulfillment, or VA roles (eCommerce preferred)
STRONG attention to detail
Reliable internet connection and quiet working environment
Decent microphone for taking phone calls
Self-starter who can take initiative and learn fast
Nice to Have (Not Required):
Knowledge of audio gear or electronics
Familiarity with Shopify, Gmail, Slack, or similar platforms
