Title of Position: Lead Facilities Technician

Responsible to: Facilities Officer

Job Overview:

The Lead Facilities Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of the assigned client's site. This person serves as a team leader for other Facilities technicians ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and at par with the required standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance of all equipment and machinery within the site.

  • Validate preventive and corrective maintenance works rendered on his assigned areas.

  • Report to Facility Officer any discrepancies or sub-standard conditions observed.

  • Assist in establishing spare parts & maintenance consumables stocking levels and review.

  • Supervise operation of equipment and machinery whenever applicable e.g. UPS, PACU, FDAS, ACUs, etc.

  • Communicate regularly to Facilities Officer & technical team during shift turn - over about routine inspection/ check results, planned preventive maintenance, scheduled corrective and other operational and maintenance issues.

  • Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors, ensuring work is completed safely at par with the standards.

Qualifications

  • A graduate of any engineering course.

  • At least three years' work-related experience with a strong leadership and technical skills.

  • Preferably certified First Aider and Safety Officer 2.

  • Has strong English communication skills (spoken and written).

  • Has client-facing responsibilities in previous and/or current work.

  • Has good organization, coordinating, and multi-tasking skills.

  • Knowledgeable in basic troubleshooting.

  • Willing to report to a changing work shift based on business needs, including night shift.

  • A resident of areas in Metro Manila preferably close to the site or within the vicinity of Taguig.
