About The Role
We're on the lookout for a
Motion Designer
to join our Juniper AU creative team in Manila.

You'll be part of our mighty editing team, reporting into our Senior Video Editor, and focused on bringing Juniper's content to life through smart, sharp, and scroll-stopping motion design.

From animated typography to slick transitions and performance hooks, your job is to help our content grab attention and hold it, across paid social, digital campaigns, and brand assets. You'll work closely with editors and creative strategists, and jump into light video editing when needed.

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role where you'll be encouraged to experiment, iterate, and keep pushing your craft.

What You'll Be Doing

• Turn creative briefs into compelling motion assets that work across Meta, YouTube, TVC, BVOD, and other digital formats
• Design and animate for vertical and landscape formats, using kinetic type, transitions, and other motion techniques to drive engagement
• Collaborate with editors, designers, and strategists to bring content ideas to life and improve performance through motion
• Support on light video editing when needed, adding motion polish to existing footage or helping bring new edits together
• Stay up to date on motion trends, tools, and creative styles and apply those learnings to your work
• Maintain tidy file structures and workflow systems to keep projects moving smoothly within the Manila team

About You (Who You Are)

• 2–4 years' experience as a motion designer, ideally working across social and digital formats
• Confident using After Effects and Premiere Pro to animate and edit
• A strong sense of design and storytelling, with the ability to apply motion in ways that elevate brand and performance
• Comfortable creating content for fast-turnaround social ads as well as more polished branded pieces
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to timelines and feedback
• A team player: collaborative, curious, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-output environment

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with tools like Iconik, LucidLink, or Figma
• Basic sound design skills
• Experience working on performance or direct-response creative
• A portfolio of work that shows strong storytelling, digital thinking, and craft in motion
