Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing:

  • Receive, verify, and input vendor invoices into the accounting system.

  • Match invoices with purchase orders (POs) and delivery receipts.
  • Ensure proper authorization and coding of all invoices.

  • Vendor Relations:

  • Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and resolve any billing discrepancies.

  • Ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time, including resolving late payment issues.

  • Payment Management:

  • Prepare and process payments (check,wire transfer).

  • Reconcile vendor statements and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

  • Expense Tracking & Reporting:

  • Assist with monthly closings and provide financial reports related to accounts payable.

  • Monitor and track utility bills, lease payments, and recurring charges.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting regulations.

  • Maintain organized and updated digital and physical records.

  • Collaboration:

  • Work closely with purchasing, inventory, and restaurant managers to track product deliveries and resolve discrepancies.

  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation as requested.

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
  • 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Restaurant365, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
