Scope of position

To assist and support customers throughout the shipping process and ensure that all customer inquiries, concerns, and issues are addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Tasks and responsibilities

§ Inventory Management, Mobilization, and Demobilization of all SCA Navy Equipment such as Fender, Brow, Brow stand, Portable toilets, tower light, Table & chairs, Mist fan, Tents and Generators etc.

§ To Carry out hygienic duties before ship arrival like cleanliness of portable toilet and hand wash station.

§ Post departure of ship maintain high levels of Cleanliness for all items provided for the ship like mopping up spills, bodily fluids, and other substances.

§ Must be available at berth during all ship calls and be responsible for the care of all cleaning equipment and material assigned to them.

§ Ready to operate forklift equipment as per the requirement

§ Make sure all consumables (handwash liquid, toilet rolls, and sanitizers) are replenished as required and placing, setting, and maintenance of pneumatic fenders and other assets at berth as per ship requirements

§ To monitor sewage water level and arrange sewage truck on a timely basis to make sure clearances are timely.

§ Acting as second-in-command to the Operations Supervisors and taking care of all duties in their absence and assist him/her with all operational issues and matters.

§ Monitoring generator condition and fuel delivery status whenever the ship takes shore power at any ports with SCA operation.

§ Responsible for ensuring product safety, authenticity, legality and quality to all our customers.

§ Have a duty of care to follow all applicable QSHE and Group policies and report any type of incident immediately to their line manager.

Requirements and skills

§ High school diploma (preferred)

§ 2 years in a similar role

§ Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office

§ Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

§ With valid passport (required)

§ With experience operating forklift equipment, preferably with license/certification

§ With valid driver license for 4 wheels vehicle (required)

§ Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs, team structures and workflows

Basic Qualifications:

  • must have a valid passport  (required)
  • active driver's license (required)
  • experience in operating forklift equipment is a must; preferably with certification/license
  • experience in the same field/industry is plus but not required
  • knowledgeable in setting up tents, camps, generators etc.
  • with basic electrical background
  • physically fit; able to do labor/field works
  • good English communication skills
  • proactive and flexible
