Converge ICT is seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support projects involving IoT device testing and research & development for enterprise solutions. This role blends technical understanding with strong project coordination, using JIRA Software to manage backlogs, sprints, testing progress, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in ensuring project milestones are met and documentation, reporting, and communication flow smoothly across engineering, software, QA, and enterprise teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agile Project Coordination: Manage backlogs, sprints, tasks, and user stories using JIRA. Keep project boards updated and aligned with team progress.
  • IoT Testing Support: Coordinate IoT device testing schedules, track hardware/firmware validation, and document results.
  • Enterprise Research Support: Work with enterprise teams to document requirements and support R&D planning for new solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a communication bridge across hardware, software, QA, and business teams.
  • Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor timelines, identify risks, and prepare status reports and burndown charts for leadership.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain structured project documentation and help refine Agile workflows for efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, IT, or related technical course.
  • 1–2 years experience in project coordination, technical support, IoT, telco, or hardware testing.
  • Hands-on JIRA experience (must be comfortable managing sprints, workflows, and reports).
  • Strong understanding of networking, hardware–software integration, or the IoT ecosystem.
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise/B2B clients.
  • Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, LoRaWAN, Zigbee) is a plus.
  • Exposure to R&D environments advantage.
  • Certifications (ScrumMaster, CAPM, Agile) are an advantage.
