Junior Data Scientist – Game Economy

  • OPEN TO FRESH GRADUATES WITH INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE RELEVANT TO GAME ANALYTICS, DATA SCIENCE, AND ECONOMY ANALYSIS

We're looking for a Junior Data Scientist who's passionate about mobile gaming and excited to learn how in‑game economies work. This role supports analysis across game features, player behavior, and economic balancing for mobile free‑to‑play (F2P) titles. It's an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who has internship experience or academic projects related to data, gaming, or analytics.

You'll collaborate with senior analysts, Product, Game Design, LiveOps, and Data Engineering teams while building the foundations of game economy analytics.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in analyzing currency flows, pricing, rewards, and progression systems.
  • Support LiveOps evaluations, seasonal event reviews, and feature performance analysis.
  • Help set up and interpret A/B tests and experiments.
  • Build dashboards and visualizations for tracking KPIs.
  • Work with data engineering partners to ensure high‑quality game telemetry.
  • Communicate findings in a clear and simple way to cross‑functional teams.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
  • Internship or academic project involving data analysis or experimentation.
  • Basic skills in SQL and Python (coursework or project use is fine).
  • Interest in mobile F2P games and player behavior.
  • Understanding of basic statistics and curiosity about A/B testing.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to game analytics or in‑game economy concepts.
  • Experience with dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
  • Familiarity with predictive modeling or ML basics.
  • Understanding of metrics like retention, engagement, or monetization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php85, Php100,000.00 per month
