The Role
McCann Worldgroup seeks an Account Director to join our team here in McCann Worldgroup Philippines, Inc. This person will be supporting brands that are leaders in their categories and are creating breakthrough, award-winning marketing. They will be essential to the continued success of our creative work, which is fully integrated across experiential, social, digital, and traditional.
Account Director will provide and support solutions that exceed clients' marketing, advertising, and branding needs. They should be inquisitive of the links between brand behavior, popular culture, business results, and emerging communications and technology trends. They are a voracious news consumer of brand, specialized reporting, and creative – both on a global and local scale, inside and outside marketing.

What You Will Do
The Account Director for McCann Worldgroup will be required to:
- Be a champion for outstanding work and effectively support and sell new ideas.
- Become the steward of any assigned projects. Monitor progress, implement changes, share updates, and formulate possible remedies for challenges as needed.
- Assist in developing and presenting strategies along with fellow team members and preparing proposals to internal team members and clients.
- Source, identify, and package daily consumer and culture news/trends, inspiring agency & client team's strategic and creative development.
- Be the conductor among different areas within the agency to ensure we are delivering the best-integrated solutions to our clients.
- Help develop project budgets by conducting research and reconcile billing, and estimating variances.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.

Other Characteristics Of An Account Director
- 3+ years of experience in advertising or related disciplines.
- Able to discuss and identify current and future client branding and communication needs.
- Hands-on involvement with integrated campaign development and execution.
- Experience working in a highly fast-paced business in a highly competitive and evolving industry.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to create great internal and client relationships.
- Proactive nature that lets you anticipate client and internal team needs, challenges, solutions.
- Very effective communication skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
